Seeing a student’s eyes light up with new meaning or insight is a delight. I teach for that spark, that joy. In addition to teaching a few courses at the Himalayan Writing Retreat, I also take on many custom assignments.

American India Foundation (AIF)

AIF Needed help train their fellows (a mix of Young Indian and US Nationals on a ten month assignment across NGOs in India). My partner Vandita & I designed a customized set of three workshops spread across their ten months to help them with their writing and public speaking.

Ashoka Foundation

The Ashoka Fellows are an inspiring set of people, each of whom has achieved much in their individual capacity. The Ashoka Foundation wanted its Fellows to take time out to write their stories as change-makers. I led two residencies for the Ashoka Foundation.

UPES, Dehradun

UPES is an up and coming University in Dehradun, with over 12,000 students. I ran a three day communication workshop for the students in their Design School.

USISPF

USISPF is a trade and advocacy organization, which promotes business between the US and India. Writing is an important part of their work. I created and led a four day article writing workshop for the team at USISPF.
