Holding the attention of an audience is an art. It starts with understanding who your audience is. As my friend Senthil says, “Starting a talk without knowing your audience is like starting a love letter with “To whom it may concern””.

But even after you have understood your audience, it takes much effort to craft a great message, which is relevant, funny, and insightful.

Way too many people expect this expertise to be offered free. I’ve done many of those, but now I prefer working with people who truly value the effort & expertise and are willing to pay for it.
